Hot sauce, hot shmauce: we thought we’d torched our tastebuds with everything until Dave's Gourmet Private Reserve Hot Sauce turned up. Indeed we’re writing this with tears in our eyes and the fire department on stand-by because a single drop of this incendiary stuff is all it takes to set your gob on fire. It’s the only hot sauce to ever get banned from the National Fiery Food Show in New Mexico for being too hot. No, really! $39.95 plus shipping

When it comes to hot sauce, one man's thermonuclear thrashing is another man's tepid tingle. The point being, everyone's taste buds are different. And even if you've got an asbestos tongue, there are times when you might like turning down the heat. But why buy ten types of hot sauce when you can vary the kick with Dave's Gourmet Adjustable Heat Hot Sauce. (Try saying that with a sausage in your mouth). $12.95 plus shipping
We've seen some bonkers alarm clocks in our time but Clocky has just raised the bar. And that's because this wacky waker-upper leaps off the bedside table and scoots around looking for somewhere to hide when its alarm sounds. No, really! Simply set Clocky's snooze button to zero and when the alarm sounds all hell breaks loose as this madcap digital clock scurries away, making random turns and racing from your grasp as it searches for somewhere to hide, beeping and flashing all the way. Think R2D2 on Red Bull crossed with a crazy rooster and you're halfway there. This smart little clock is always on the lookout for different places to hide. Under the bed? Behind the door? Beneath the table? That's for Clocky to know and for you to find out! Beep…Beep…Beep…Beep…Beep...Aargh!! Available in Blue or almond, $49.99 plus shipping.

Each 8oz jar makes 2 full gallons of the fluffy stuff, while the ultra-portable test-tube size cranks out two cups! While Instant Snow is non-toxic, we don't recommend eating any. Flush thoroughly with water if it is accidentally ingested. Be safe, and have fun! Test Tube $2.99 8 oz. bucket $11.99 plus shipping

The water clock will display the time and date in clear easy to read numbers just moments after you fill the liquid reservoirs in the back with the liquid of your choice. We've had ours running for weeks so far and the water levels have barely descended and we haven't had to refill it at all.

How does it work? Magic mostly. And a little bit of science too. The internal converter simply extracts electrons from water (or other liquid) molecules and provides a steady stream of electrical current acting as a fuel cell to generate power to the clock.

Attractively packaged with translucent blue siding and a mirrored front. You can even use the water reservoirs on the back to hold flowers! But guess what? Flowers aren't included! Neither are batteries! Neither is the water! Sad? Here, giving you the dimensions should make you happier: 6" x 4" x 2 1/2". Now buy one. $12.99 plus shipping

Find A Death

Posted by: Andee / Category:

We are all going to die. It happens... but when it happens to a celebrity its all over the news and people want to know all the details. Remember the circus of Anna Nicole Smith? How about Kurt Cobain? It's interesting to learn about the people we idolize, including how they died. FindADeath.com is a fantastic website that has a database full of the famous and infamous. The articles include stories of their lives, photos, and all the info leading up to the last days of their life. You should check it out. Here is a little preview of one of my favorite celebrities, Phil Hartman.

The following events took place on the morning of Thursday May 28, 1998. I thank Findadeath.com Terri Rios again, for her terrific photographs.

The Hartman's lived in Encino, California. Just around the corner from the Cha Cha Cha fine Caribbean Cuisine.

40 year old Brynn Hartman showed up at the house sometime between 2 and 3 AM, completely drunk and coked. She had been drinking that night with a friend till 10 o'clock, in the Buca di Bepo restaurant on Ventura Boulevard, I don't know where she was after that.

The Hartman Home

From what I gather, Phil and Brynne's 11-year marriage was stormy at best. According to one account, she was upset because she had read a note from Phil the night before, implying that he wanted to end the marriage. Other reports state that they were in counseling, and things were improving. Whatever the cause, she was definitely having a bad day.

Brynne and Phil Hartman

They lived at 5065 Encino Avenue, in The Valley.

49 year-old Phil was asleep in bed, wearing a purple T-shirt and boxer shorts with cartoon Dachshunds on them, from The GAP. I couldn't make that up. She shot him 3 times: in the forehead, neck and forearm. Weirdly, it was the forearm bullet that killed him. It re entered his chest, and got him that way.

After she killed him, she went to a friend's (Hello. I've just murdered my husband, and I've come to involve you.) house and told him, "I shot Phil." He didn't believe her. She fell asleep, and friend searched her purse, and found a Smith and Wesson revolver. Friend put it in a plastic SAV-ON grocery bag. Brynn woke up three hours later, and she took the friend back to the scene. Friend checks out that Phil is indeed deady dead dead, and calls 911.

"Yeah, hi…um…I think there's been a shooting here. She came to my house and she was drunk. She said she had killed her husband and I didn't believe her."

Shortly after the police arrived at 6:20 am, Brynn locked herself in the bedroom. Friend gave police the revolver, and they escort the couple's 2 children from the premises. Police tried to talk Brynn out of the bedroom, but she crying hysterically and wasn't budging. They broke a bedroom window to try to distract her. It didn't work. Well, not the way they intended it to. She pulled out another gun, stuck it in her mouth, and pulled the trigger. Cops broke down the door, and found her unresponsive. They confiscated the gun. She was wearing white cotton T-shirt with the number 9 on the chest (also from The GAP), and brown argyle socks. Oh, the indignity.

Both of them were lying on the King-size bed. Phil was lying on his right side, and Brynn's head was on a pillow.

Their bodies were removed and taken to the Medical Examiners for an autopsy. Upon examination, it showed that Brynn's had consumed alcohol, cocaine and an antidepressant, Zoloft.

The official verdict was murder/suicide.

Their bodies were cremated at Forest Lawn Glendale. There was a funeral service on the 4th of June, attended by the kids. Their ashes were supposedly scattered off Catalina Island, per Phil's will.

Brynn's family are suing the makers of Zoloft.

For updates and tons of info, check out the site... it's awesome.

Changes in the Book of Mormon

Posted by: Andee / Category: ,

Again, from The Skeptic's Annotated Book of Mormon, here are some of the changes made to the Book of Mormon over the years. Many people read this and think, "So what?" but when Joseph Smith supposedly translated the Book of Mormon, he claimed it to be the most correct book on the face of the Earth, and that it should never be changed in any way... Hmm, why was it changed then?

    1 Nephi

  1. 1830: Behold, the virgin whom thou seest is the mother of God.
Now: Behold, the virgin whom thou seest is the mother of the Son God. 11:18

  2. 1830: Behold, the Lamb of God, yea, even the Eternal Father!
Now: Behold, the Lamb of God, yea, even the Son of the Eternal Father! 11:21

  3. 1830: yea, the everlasting God was judged of the world
Now: yea, the Son of the everlasting God was judged of the world 11:32

  4. 1830: and Jesus Christ, which is the Lamb of God
Now: and the Messiah, which is the Lamb of God 12:18
(This was changed to avoid contradicting 2 Nephi 10:3, which first reveals to Nephi the name of Christ.)

  5. 1830: ...the Lamb of God is the Eternal Father...
Now: ...the Lamb of God is the son of the Eternal Father... 13:40

  6. 1830: ...and are come forth out of the waters of Judah, which swear by the name of the Lord...
Now: ...are come forth out of the waters of Judah, or out of the waters of baptism, who swear by the name of the Lord...20:1

    2 Nephi

  7. First appearance of the word "Christ" in the modern BoM. "Christ" appeared earlier (1 Nephi 12:18) in the 1 830 edition, but was changed to "Messiah" to avoid contradicting this verse. 10:3

  8. 1830: seraphims
    Now: seraphim
The 1830 edition copied the KJV error in the plural of seraph. 16:2, 6

  9. 1830: Wo me!
Now: Wo is unto me! 16:5
The omitted italicized word "is" was later corrected.

  10. 1830: Here I; send me.
Now: Here I am; send me. 16:8
The omitted italicized word "am" was later corrected.

  11. 1830: ...they shall be a white and delightsome people...
Now: ...they shall be a pure and delightsome people.... 30:6
"White" was changed to "delightsome" to try to soften the obvious racism of this prophecy.

    Mosiah

  12. 1830 version: "...that king Benjamin had a gift from God..."
Now: "...that king Mosiah had a gift from God..." 21:28
Since King Benjamin was dead at the time, this change was needed to avoid the obvious error.

    Alma

  13. 1830: ... the Son of the only begotten of the Father ...
Now: ... the only begotten of the Father ... 5:48

  14. 1830: cherubims (as in the King James Version)
Now: cherubim 12:21 (Cheribims is the incorrect plural of cherub.)

Science and History in the Book of Mormon

Posted by: Andee / Category: ,

Good Monday everyone, I decided to share some things I found on "The Skeptics Annotated Book of Mormon" page about the problems in the BoM. The Book of Mormon talks about things that didn't exist at the time... how is that possible? It's an interesting read. Please check out the site for more inaccuracies in the Book of Mormon.

Science and History in the Book of Mormon

I did break my bow, which was made of fine steel.--1 Nephi 16:18

    1 Nephi

  1. "I make a record in the language of my father ... the language of the Egyptians." That's a strange language an Israelite around 600 BCE to write in! There is no evidence of the use of Egyptian writing in pre-Columbian America. 1:2

  2. It only took Nephi and his family three days to travel from Jerusalem to the Red Sea. (A distance of 250 miles) 2:6

  3. Nephi named a "continually running" river that flowed from Arabia to the Red Sea after his son Laman. But there are no permament rivers n Arabia, and there hasn't been since the Pleistocene. 2:8

  4. God made the New World just for Nephi and his family. (For though it had been occupied by the Native Americans for tens of thousands of years, God made it for Nephi, not for them.) 2:20

  5. Laban's sword blade was made of steel, long before steel existed. 4:9

  6. Laban's servant figured Nephi was Laban and that he spoke for the church. What church? The Jews in 600 BCE didn't have churches, did they? 4:26

  7. Nephi sees "many cities" settled by the Nephites in the New World. Yet no evidence of them has ever been found. 12:3

  8. A round brass ball "of curious workmanship" leads Lehi through the wilderness. A compass, perhaps? But compasses didn't exist in 600 BCE. 16:10, 16

  9. Nephi breaks his bow, "which was made of fine steel." But the technology for making steel did not exist in 600 BCE. 16:18

  10. They come to a place that they call Bountiful, "because of its much fruit and also wild honey." But the Arabian coastline does not abound in fruit or honey, and hasn't for many thousands of years. 17:5

  11. "We did work timbers of curious workmanship." But where did Nephi get the lumber? There are very few trees in the Arabian desert. 18:1

  12. Nephi used a compass to navigate with about 1800 years before compasses were discovered. 21

  13. After arriving in the New World, Nephi and company planted all of the seeds that they brought from "the land of Jerusalem" and "they did grow exceedingly." Yet there is no evidence that Near Eastern crops ever grew in the New World
    in pre-Columbian times. 18:24

  14. Nephi found cows, horses, oxen, asses, and goats and goats when he arrived in the New World in 590 BCE. Yet none of these domesticated animals existed in North America before the Europeans brought them over 2000 years later. 18:25

    2 Nephi

  15. In 590 BCE, Lehi and company found the Americas completely uninhabited. 1:8-9

  16. Nephi brought along the brass plates and the magic ball (or compass) that God made with his own hands. This was about 1600 years before compasses were used in navigation. 5:12

  17. Nephi makes many swords [like Laban's, made of "the most precious steel" (1 Ne 4:9)]. Yet there is no evidence of metal swords in the New World before Columbus. 5:14

  18. Nephi teaches his followers to build buildings and work in iron, copper, brass, steel, gold, and silver. But evidence is lacking for such pre-Columbian metallurgy, and it would be well beyond the capabilities of a handful of immigrants from the ancient Near-East around 590 BCE. 5:15

  19. Wasn't it God that cut Rahab (the sea monster) to pieces, wounded the dragon, and dried up the sea? Yeah, it was him all right. Who else could do that? 8:9-10

  20. "The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb...." I wonder what will become of the spiders. Will they be more friendly toward flies? And will the parasitic wasps find another way to feed their larvae? Or will they continue to feed off the living bodies of caterpillars? 21:6

  21. "And the weaned child shall put his hand in the cockatrice' den." A cockatrice is a serpent, hatched from a cock's egg, that can kill with a glance. They are rare nowadays. 21:8

  22. According to this verse, the moon produces its own light and the earth does not move. 23:10

  23. When God gets really angry, he causes earthquakes. 23:13

  24. Dragons will live in Babylonian palaces and satyrs will dance there. 23:21-22

  25. "Out of the serpent's root shall come forth a cockatrice, and his fruit shall be a fiery flying serpent." What ever happened to these fascinating biblical creatures? 24:29

  26. "And the weaned child shall put his hand in the cockatrice's den." A cockatrice is a serpent, hatched from a cock's egg, that can kill with a glance. They are rare nowadays. 30:14

    Enos

  27. A Cmimeter is a curved sword with the sharp edge on the convex side. This type of sword did not exist at the time Enos was supposedly written (ca. 500 BCE). Indeed there is no evidence that swords of any kind existed in pre-Columbian America. 1:20

  28. The Nephites planted "all manner of grain" and all manner of cattle, goats, and horses. (Cattle, horses, and European grains were absent in pre-Columbian North America.) 1:21

    Jarom

  29. The Nephites fortified their cities. (Why is there no evidence for these fortified cities?) 1:7

  30. The Nephites "multplied exceedingly" and "became exceedingly rich" in gold, silver, iron, copper, brass, and steel making tools and weapons "of every kind." This was before steel existed, of course, and no evidence for any of these Nephite weapons, tools, cities, or technologies have ever been found. 1:8

    Mosiah

  31. Lehi, a 7th century Israelite, was taught in the language of the Egyptians. 1:4

  32. The Nephites had to hand over half of their barley to the Lamanites. But that wouldn't have been a big deal since barley didn't exist in the New World at the time. 7:22

  33. Ammon finds ancient swords. If swords existed in pre-Columbian America, why is there no evidence of it today? 8:11

  34. Zeniff and his people plant all kinds of crops, including wheat and barley, neither of which were present until the Europeans brought them to America. 9:9

  35. Zeniff arms his people with swords and cimeters. No evidence for these pre-Columbian weapons has ever been found. 9:16

  36. More swords and cimeters. But no evidence for these pre-Columbian weapons has ever been found. 10:8

    Alma

  37. The Amlicites were armed with swords and cimeters (ca. 87 BCE). But no evidence for these weapons has ever been found. 2:12

  38. No metal coins (ezrons, senines, ontis, etc.) have been found from pre-Columbia America. 11:4-19

  39. The New World in 78 BCE had many temples, sanctuaries, and synagogues that "were built after the manner of the Jews." Yet no evidence of these magnificent buildings has ever been found. 16:13

  40. Swords (presumably made of metal) are again mentioned as though though they were common in pre-Columbian America. But no evidence for their existence has ever been found. 17:7

  41. Ammon had lots of horses an chariots, at a time when neither horses nor chariots existed in the New World. 18:9-10

  42. Lamoni had horses and chariots. But horses and wheeled transportation didn't exist in the Pre-Columbian New World. 20:6

  43. Just another of the many swords that are mentioned in the Book of Mormon at a time and place where swords did not exist. 20:16

  44. More metal swords, cimeters, and breastplates, none of which has ever been found. 43:18-20, 43:37-38, 44:8, 44:17

    Helaman

  45. The Lamanites (Native Americans) had "an innumerable army" that was armed with swords and cimeters. Yet no evidence for such weapons in the Pre-Columbian New World has ever been found. 1:14

  46. The Nephites "began to cover the whole earth." Yet no evidence for Native Americans of Israelite descent has ever been found. 3:8

  47. The Nephites built cities, temples, synagogues, sanctuaries, "and all manner of buildings." But no trace of them has ever been found. 3:9

  48. The Nephites had a large timber industry. They exported "much by the way of shipping." Of course, there is no evidence for any of this now.

  49. The Nephites built "many cities, both of wood and of cement." No evidence of them exists today. 3:11

  50. The Nephites built ships, temples, synagogues, and sanctuaries. But no one has found any evidence of them. 3:14

  51. The Nepites wrote many books and records "of every kind", but no evidence for them exists today. 3:15

  52. "From the west sea [Pacific], even unto the east [Atlantic]; it being a day's journey for a Nephite." (Nephites could walk 5000 kilometers in one day.) 4:7

    3 Nephi

  53. And God's prophecy came true! That night "there was no darkness when night came ... but it was as light as thought it was mid-day." 1:15, 19

  54. More talk of horses and chariots at a time and place in which neither existed. 3:22

  55. Domesticated horses did not exist in per-Columbian America. 4:4, 6:1

  56. When Jesus died, the inhabitants of many great cities died with him. Entire cities were sunk into the ocean, or were burned, or destroyed by earthquakes. 8:8-10, 14

  57. When Jesus died, "the face of the whole earth became deformed." 8:17-18

  58. For three days after Jesus died, there was absolutely no light -- not from the sun, moon, or stars, or from candles, campfires, or fireflies. 8:20-22

    4 Nephi

  59. "They did build cities."
(But no evidence of them can be found today.) 7

  60. "But there were many cities which had been sunk."
(But no evidence of them can be found today.) 9

    Mormon

  61. "They would struggle with the sword for their lives."
(There were no swords in the pre-Columbian New World.) 2:15, 6:9, 15

    Ether

  62. The Jaredites were Israelites who lived at the time of the Tower of Babel. (Genesis 11:1-9) 1:33

  63. The Jaredites brought domesticated old world animals and plants "of every kind" to the New World. 1:41

  64. "They did also carry with them deseret, which, by interpretation, is a honey bee."
There were no honey bees in the New World before they were introduced by Europeans in the 17th century. (Wikipedia: Origin and distribution of the genus Apis) 2:3

  65. The brother of Jared made 16 small stones, as clear as glass, out of molten rock. He then asked God to touch the stones to make them into lights to light up the inside of the barges. God did as the brother of Jared requested. 3:1-6

  66. "He ... made swords out of steel." 7:9

  67. "All manner of cattle, of oxen, and cows, and of sheep, and swine, and of goats ... horses, and asses, and elephants"

  68. "Coriantum took to wife, in his old age, a young maid, and begat sons and daughters; wherefore he lived until he was an hundred and forty and two years old." 9:24

  69. "There came forth poisonous serpents also upon the face of the land, and did poison many people." 9:31

  70. "Lib also did that which was good in the sight of the Lord. And ... the poisonous serpents were destroyed." 10:19

  71. Brass, iron and silks -- none of which existed in the Pre-Columbian New World. 10:23-24

  72. "There had been slain two millions of mighty men, and also their wives and their children." Millions of people were "slain by the sword", yet no swords have ever been found from pre-Columbian America. 15:2

Pathetic Personals

Posted by: Andee / Category:

So a friend of mine told me to put out an internet personal ad to meet guys in my new area. I turned down the idea right away. You never know what you are going to get when you agree to meet people you meet on the internet. I have MANY friends I met online, but I certainly wouldn't agree to go on a date with someone I just met. Just being smart, bad things happen. I was bored and found a site called PatheticPersonals.com. Here is how to create a pathetic personal... for more funny photos from real personals check out the site! It's awesome!

Step 1: Post a sassy glamour shot, preferably from the late '80's.

Step 2: Drown yourself in a bewitching boa. It's hot.

Step 3: Recent photos? Why bother? Go back and cut and/or scratch out your ex.

Step 4: Keep us guessing. Choose blurry photos.

Step 5: Strike a pose.

Step 6: Choose from the following list of cliche`s.

  • "I love walks on the beach, bungee jumping and traveling the world." Translation: I liive in the dust bowl, wade in kiddy pools and the last time I saw the world was when I drove outside Topeka city limits to stock up on lotto tickets and green ketchup.
  • "I like to go out and have fun, but also like to cuddle up on the couch with a good movie." Translation: For the first few dates, I'll pretend to be a social butterfly, but once we get cruising baby, we're gonna make it a Blockbuster year!
  • "I don't judge people by their looks, as long as there is some chemistry." Translation: My enormously pretentious soap box is inversely proportional to the size of my penis.
  • "I'm just curious, I'm not really "looking" for anything." Translation: Dear Sweet Jesus, I need a boyfriend. Furthermore, I burst into tears whenever I see a couple holding hands.
  • "I want friends first, then we'll see where it goes." Translation: Please allow 4-6 weeks for delivery of sexual favors.
  • "Cheaters and players need not apply because I'm not looking for games." Translation: By portraying myself as a victim, I'm going to attract the very man I fear.
  • "I'll try anything once! LOL!" Translation: I want to make it sound like I'm a thrill seeker when in fact I'm most comfortable with my ass on the couch and three bags of Baked Lays. Also, I don't do anal.
  • "Family and friends are important to me." Translation: Get ready, you'll be meeting Mom on the third date.
  • "I'm spiritual, not religious." Translation: I want all the props for saying I believe in God but there's no way in holy hell I'm getting up on Sunday to go to church.
  • "I'm as comfortable being snuggly wuggly on the couch in sweats as I am dressed up for a night on the town." Translation: I'm normally dressed in tattered Green Bay Packers gear, but if my prom dress still fits me, we might go out.

Step 7: Waste everyone's precious time with painfully obvious bullshit.

  • I would love to meet the one who likes to make plans to do stuff! I love beautiful weather and want to be out in it! I enjoy cooking, quiet evenings at home and going to the movies and restaurants! I laugh alot, humor is the best.
  • i like to do all kinds of thing i like to take walks and talk about all kinds of things
  • I loveto have fun but I dont like BS, STDS, and HIV's
  • I love sex,i'm extremly sensul
  • I WANT A MAN WHO WANTS TO BE WITH ME. I LIKE TO HAVE FUN.
  • The person should not be a criminal!!!
  • ive been hurt so badly before. i dont like cheating at all. or lying.
  • Good conversation always is good
  • Clingyness is a bad quality
  • I like the outdoors when the weather is nice.
  • looking for a normal person to chat with. I prefer not to talk to potential stalkers.
  • I am not gona sit here and lie and say that looks are not important. physical attraction is a must.
  • hi,im new here so i dont know what to say but i would like to meet with new people and i,m easy going person and i like honest and tru peoples.i like to talk about any thing and about social life.i like to help every body if i can.i get long with every body

Step 8: After joining a dating service, make it clear you do not intend to date.

  • I am 22 yrs old and actually im not really looking for anyone dating wise just friends due to me finding someone from here that i really like so u can message me if u want but actually i am not looking for a relationship sorry but if it happens it happnes

Step 9: Make sure to tell us you're thick in all the right places.

  • I'm a down to earth woman that is fun to be with. Brown skin black, indian, and asian. Thick (not fat) but phat
  • But I must let you know that I AM a thick girl, (meaning I got extra meat... not fat... but I got meat on my bones.. SO...... If you are in search of an anorexic little skinny chick, I would most definitely not be the one to hit up.)
  • you need to be somewhat athletic or atleast look like it thick is ok too just not fat ,you know if you are fat, and must have a pretty face.
  • i love everyone. ill help anyone at anytime. i usally put others before myself. im thick but not gross thick im more strong thick

Step 10: If you have children, mention that you actually care about them.

  • If your some crazy creep hoping to hook up, with some stupid woman with children so you can get your sick rocks off. Well, step off cause no one will be meeting my children anytime soon. I will do back ground checks, check all of your stories out, and also check out your family before anyone gets near my babies! My children are #1 in my life and will stay that way till they are grown and on their own. My youngest has athsma.
  • Hello.I have 3 kids they are important tome. I love them and they a re part of my life I LOVE MY CHILDRENTHEY ARE MY LIFE!!

Step 11: Remember, playing the victim is sexy. Let us know you're fresh out of a shitty relationship.

  • I am getting out of a bad relationship that went on way too long. I will not tolerate someone lying to me or cheating on me...I am looking for adult interaction with a responsible, fun, honest person. I am tired of playing games and being hurt.
  • I wan to start Living Again...After a 2 year disaster I called a relationship I AM READY!!!
  • Well I just divorced my husband who put me through hell and back but the thing about it is the exsperiance made me stronger and very indemendent. It also made me very picky with relationships matter of fact its causes me to close up inside. I do hope to find someone to break through and teach me its ok to open up.

Step 12: Punctuation is completely optional.

  • im looking for a female who i can have fun with someone that is smart funny attractive and has goals very imprtant on the goal thing cause it says alot about your personality im not looking for anything serious right off the bat i just want someone i can be friends with cause if you cant be friends with your girl then being lovers will never work out by the way if you plan on sleeping with me within the first week or you plan on telling me that you love me within the first month or so then dont even bother replying i want a girl with respect for her self and someone that knows what love is and you cant love someone you dont know and trust me you wont know me in a month

Step 13: Ramble incoherently.

  • I just want to find some nice, caring, sincere man who loves me for me (or in spite for me) in other words, a man who is perfect for ME. I'm finally at the point in my life where I don't need a man, but I really want one. And I hope to find a man at the same point. Only he wants a woman, not a man....okay, okay, you get it.
  • Be straight ]honest] and look forward to creat a conversation that furthers the relationship. Thats what is difficult to do but not difficult to put in action as i have always thought of winning my point of view you actually are allowing other person to agree with some point of view too! Thats what is a basic ingrediant in animals called home sapience!!!--the rare breed of Nature ..... HUMANS!!! The more i go into a friend shipmore i become sensitive about human values and speach with which i interact !
  • quite think built, office worker, dancingand movies all tyoe watch sports church graduate of osu weeendends to see the the future geo. washinton, a. lincoln elvis pete rose jesus taking about sex yes it could happen christian values outgoing personality dancing sports fan white , thin neat kiss fun laughter honesty hygene office worker sports, dancing, socialize marriage.

Step 14: Misspell your profession, so as not to arouse any suspicion that you remotely give a shit about what you do.

  • I am a student a the Charlston Job corps studing to be a pharmicy tech. I am also x military
  • i draw, paint and coloer, i want to get a grapice design degree
  • I have a background in chald care and cunlary arts.

Step 15: Why go to the extreme hassle of spelling words such as "to", "you" and "one"? Substitute single letters and numbers.

  • Im not real picky, i just want a girl with a good attitude, and thats knows haw 2 hav a good time. I would like 2 find some1 who likes outdoor activities, but it isint manditory.
  • Hi I'm Jason. I like 2 KISS! (keep it simple stupid!!) I like 2 have a good time and looking 4 some 1 to have 1 with!!!!!

Step 16: Please, please please quote unoriginal poetry such as Robert Frost or Jewel.

  • I know curiosity killed the cat, but it does wonders for me! One of my favorite quotes is by Robert Frost: "two roads diverged into a forest and I.....I took the less traveled by and it has made all the difference"! I feel that there is someone out there that will enjoy being with me, as much as I will enjoy being with them. We can try new things or old as long as it's together. I know you are all out there somewhere! As Walt Disney said so eloquently, "fairytales can come true, it can happen to you."

Step 17: Cuddling is a highly specialized and sought-after skill. Weed out the incompetent fools by mentioning it at least four times.

  • Easy going, love to cook, watch movies, cuddle, cuddle, cuddle. Did I mention I like to cuddle?
  • My ideal match must be a first-class cuddler. Nothing better than coming home from work to open arms, ready to snuggle!
  • I'm looking for someone who's ready to settle down with the right one, has to love to cuddle and hold hands, but relizes that there is a time and place for foreplay.

Step 18: Nice guys unite! While you're waiting for your testicles to descend, whine incessantly about how girls walk all over you.
  • When ever I get to know a girl she tells me that I am boyfriend material. I now exactly sure what that intails but I think that it is good. I know that I treat women the way they want to be treated. Then they walk all over me. I want some one that will not abuse the fact that I am a gentleman and a loving boyfriend.
  • I am a nice caring guy who has been hurt a lot by his ex's. You all call this guy a dying breed of gentlemen.
  • hey girls, thank you for reading my ad. i'm tired of getting screwed over the years by promises by girls. it has happened too much to me.
Step 19: Set yourself apart from those cafeteria Christians by informing us that your relationship with J.C. is in fact personal.

  • One important point...Jesus Christ is my Lord. I do not cram my beliefs down anyone's throat. My relationship with God/Lord is personal.
  • I am a Christian and attend services regularly. I have personal relationship with Jesus Christ but I'm not at all "religious".
  • Christina Guy Seeking Christian Lady --do u know how special u are ? God love you so much, he kept leanning on you with his love until you are surredered ur life to him . and now that u have said, "yes", to jesus u are a member of God's family. u are is child, u are now belone to him. this preching was written for u .it will help u to grow in ur understanding of God ur personal relationship with him, read it carefully, do as, i insturct and i know that u will make as child od God.

Step 20: Finally, do not under any circumstances double check your ad. Remember, we're going for spoteae~ui#ty.

Haunts at the Theme Park

Posted by: Andee / Category:

I am sure I have mentioned before that I lived in Orlando for about 7 years and spent those years working in various theme parks. I would always hear stories from co-workers about "the worker who fell to his death here..." or "the kid who fell out of his seat here" that now haunt the place. I have felt at certain spots chills... and the memory of these things still send chills down my spine. I decided to find out other theme park haunts to share with you. Next time you go to the park, maybe you could do a little ghost-hunting! I hope you like it!

Christmas Shop At Disneyland

Disneyland CA- The Christmas Shop - Some of the stock crew has reported an strange feeling when alone stocking the store for the morning. There is an old photo from the 19th century of a young woman up on one of the shelves. It has been documented several different times that a stock person will noticed the photo frowning (her photo is taken with a straight face) at them along with a strange wind in the room.

Disneyland - The Disney Gallery - which is above the Pirates of the Caribbean. Workers have reported that after park closing and in the early morning, they see a figure of a tall man walking around in the Gallery. He is believed to be the spirit of Walt himself. Cold spots are also reported by numerous visitors.

Disneyland - Fire Station - some employees heard foot steps at 2nd floor at night and someone knocked the door. The 2nd floor is not open for public and it's been an empty room for several years. - January 2006 Additional Information: The room above the Disneyland fire station was built as a place for Walt Disney to stay in while he inspected the park or did park business. It has all the amenities as an functional apartment for him.

The Haunted Mansion, Disneyland

Disneyland - Haunted Mansion - There are 3 spirits that are in the place all the time, elderly man (who died of a heart attack in Aug. of 1970 before there was a first aid station on the west side of the park), an elderly woman and a young man who has quite a sense of humor. There is also something nasty in the attic just before the omni-movers exit into the graveyard. Witnesses report having hair pulled in the crypt (exit) area with no one in sight, touched on the back by a hand in a car that ended up having no one in the car, seen people walk up the portrait hall or grand staircase, stop and vanish, faces peer from behind the corner at the top of the grand staircase, heard footsteps on the false floor behind the load area when there is no one else there, been touched on the face by unseen hands, seen a man in the exit mirror.

Disneyland - It's a Small World - Lights have turned themselves off/on by themselves, as well as the all the dolls moving without power.

Disneyland - Matterhorn Mountain - The ghost of a woman named Dolly, she was crushed to death after she fell out of her sled and was hit by the sled behind her.

Disneyland - Pirates of the Caribbean - The story goes that a young boy and his mom loved the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. The boy got cancer and his last wishes was that his ashes be spread over the Pirates ride. Disneyland rejected that for health reasons but his mother did it anyway. At night the ride operators can sometimes see a lone boy riding one of the boats on the video monitors, but when they check it out there is no one.

Disneyland - Space Mountain - both the ride itself and the women's (employee) locker rooms are haunted by the ghost of "Mr. One-Way", a guest who died on the Space Mountain ride back in the 1970's. On the ride, he is described as a large man with reddish hair and a red face, and has been seen by guests getting into a car with a lone rider, but he vanishes before the end of the ride.

Disneyland - The Star Trader (4th floor stock room) - Cast members have felt a cold, eerie wind on the 4th floor of the stock room, when there are no doors, vents, or windows up there.

Tomorrow Land Transit-Authority, What used to be the "People Mover"

Disneyland - the old "People Mover Ride" - Reports of operating, girls (especially those with long blond hair) would sometimes feel an unseen someone pull viciously at their hair. The boy died a few years ago on a Grad Night when he jumped out of the cabin of the People Mover, got caught and dragged underneath the car. He grabbed desperately at his girlfriends long blond hair to save himself.

Disneyland - Tom Sawyers Island - The ghost (s) of one or two people have been seen on Tom Sawyers Island. At least three boys (all Grad night victims) have drowned in the Rivers of America.

Disneyland - Tomorrow Land - Reports of a menacing presence accompanied by cold spots.

Hershey - Hershey Park, PA- The Park at night can be a very scary place. The carousel turns on by itself in the middle of the night and is a mysterious maintenance worker who works on the Commet roller coaster. He was a victim of a freak accident at the roller coaster. It is also said that the ghost of Hershey himself roams the park to keep an eye on things.

Frontier Trail Shop at Cedar Point

Sandusky, OH - Cedar Point - a young woman walking past CJ's Provisions in the Frontier Trail. Anyone working in that stand has reportedly felt someone there or has apparently seen someone walking by the doors when they are closed before the season begins. Legend has it that a young woman walks up and down frontier trail looking for her boyfriend / husband in that area. Strange things have happened in CJ's. If you leave a sponge on the sink in the fudge area and leave to go and do something, like take your break or go outside to get something and you come back and your sponge is gone. No one else has taken it or even seen where it went to. Then when you go back, sometimes the sponge reappears in the same place that you last left and there are only 2 of you in the stand. (I have first hand experience with this since I've worked there this past 2003 season).

Los Angeles - Knott's Berry Farm - Mrs. Knott's Chicken Dinner Restaurant a ghost in one of the empty, windowless back dining rooms. looked like an old woman and the busboy claimed it was simply a fog.

Kennedy Space Center, FL- Apollo 1 Launch Complex 34 - The old abandoned Launch Pad of the Apollo missions is believed to be haunted by the ghosts of the three astronauts that lost their lives in a tragic fire. When you are on the pad you get a weird feeling, then at night when you enter some of the abandoned buildings, if you're quiet you can hear screams of panic and distress. NASA, at one time, let visitors tour the facility, but due to 'strange occurrences' they no longer include the Apollo Launch Pad on the tour.

Orlando - Disney World - There is known to be a tan figure walking down the streets in front of the castle.

Orlando - Disney World - Pirates of the Caribbean - The spirit of "George" a worker who died there when a beam fell on him during construction still haunts the attraction. At the beginning of the day and at the end of the day attractions workers must come on the PA system and tell George good morning and good night. If not the attraction has been know to shut itself down adding more work before the workers came go home for the night. - March 2004 Addition/ correction - when the ride was being built in the early 70's (it opened Dec. 15, 1973) , George was a welder who clearly, welded different parts of the scenes on the attraction together. One particular area on the ride, called the "burning city", required George to climb up quite high above the ground. George lost his balance, and fell to his death. If you talk to any of the employees at pirates, they will either know of someone who has had an incident with George, or there is a chance they move have had one themselves.

Epcot- Disney World

Orlando - Walt Disney World - EPCOT - Spaceship earth - a small girl with long blonde hair has been seen riding in a car & a boy run in front of her and vanish at the same location (outside during the day).

Orlando - Walt Disney World - Tower of Terror - There has been a story among employees of a ghost walking around the "Tower of Terror" at off hours; he's usually found walking the wrong way, does not respond to calls and then disappears.

Orlando - typhoon lagoon - typhoon lagoon there was a little boy that drowned on the boat slide. Now you can see at night a little boy riding a raft.

Orlando - universal studios back to the future (Now being remodeled for a Simpson's Ride)
- Some guests have died from natural causes while riding the ride and two maintenance guys have been crushed by the cars while working on the hydraulics. On the third floor at the entrance there are large mirrors where a small hand print appears about 7 ft up especially when that floor isn't being used. won't be cleaned off. also on the third floor when it's closed you hear the song one of the maintenance guys liked to whistle and the sound moves up and down the halls. on the second floor when cleaning cars at the end of the day the cars will close on the employee with no one at the controls and you hear a small girl giggle. also some heavy doors open on their own when the ride isn't turned on. also shadows are seen in the employee hallway up to the third floor followed by a feeling of foreboding.

Kings Island in Ohio

Cincinnati OH- Kings Island- There was the old story of the lady that got thrown from the viking boat, she landed in the little pond that was in front of it. Someone went in to get her, and he was electrocuted from the power to the lights in the water.

Cincinnati OH- Kings Island- Top Gun... This was not the coaster that you know now, but a ride that was a tower that you spun around, and you had control of your ride vehicle. A kid was not properly secured as he and his friend spun it upside down, and the kid fell out...went splat.
That one I believe is true. There are bound to be some ghosts lurking around a park that old. Then there was the story about the flying Eagles.....one of the wires broke and decapitated somebody.

Cincinnati OH- Kings Island- "Octopus" ferris wheel. It was a huge double ferris wheel that was enclosed in cages. You then got to spin these cages around as you spun end over end in the ferriss wheel. Very slow and not thrilling, but those things did not seem safe....and according to legend they werent. The chains broke as one spun wildly and killed five people.
