Okay, it's no secret that I love all things retro.
After I finished updating the links on my blog, I went to PlasticLand to browse. There are easily half a million things that I have to have... but I will settle for showing them off here since I am in the poor-house.
This adorable babydoll tunic top, from Lucy Love Clothing, is made of white stretch jersey fabric with big black pinwheel style flowers printed all over it! It features an empire waist, scoop neck, and fun black plastic buttons down the front of the chest. $9.75
This adorable retro style babydoll dress, by Rock Steady, is made of soft stretchy black jersey fabric. It features a banded empire waist, a ruffle trimmed shrug-like collar with swirly white sparrows (birds) embroidered on the shoulders, and puff sleeves. The deep V neckline is a little daring, but would look very cute with a cami layered underneath. $59
Lovely. A fabulous wool pea coat is an absolute must have for any fall wardrobe! This retro style, ivory, double breasted wool peacoat is light enough to wear during cool fall days, and warm enough for frosty winter nights. It features a beautifully tailored fit, satin piping trim around the collar and pockets, and beautiful chain print satin lining. $108
Wow. This is to die for, isn't it? Classy and tailored? This Hollywood starlet inspired flared jacket, from Tulle Clothing, has a gorgeous fitted shape with a flared skirt, 3/4 length sleeves, retro oversized plastic and metal buttons, and red satin lining. The black fabric features a gorgeous herringbone basket-weave texture. A very versatile piece that can be dressed up or down depending on your mood. Only $100...These 1960's inspired pull-on maryjane pumps are a must have for any wardrobe. Made of grey faux suede, they feature rounded toes, wide gathered stretchy maryjane straps with a matching big grey love knot on the side, and 3.5" heels. The perfect compliment to a fall wool coat. $32
Me.
WindySydney began as an online journal detailing my exit from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Since leaving the Mormon Church, I have come to the conclusion that religion does more harm than good. I have also become an atheist, looking for logic and reason instead of accepting things on faith.
I also blog about things going on in my life. I am learning photography, I have a severe addiction to diet coke, I am a proud vegetarian, and I have two of the cutest cats in the world. Life is officially an adventure without the magical fairy-tale ending. I plan on enjoying it.

I really love mid-century retro as well.
Also, are you planning on changing the layout of your blog daily? ;)

Oh, and that last jacket would be marvellous with those shoes, and I think a lavender blouse and matching scarf and dark grey hose would look stunning - I just LOVE greys and purples/pinks together.
So much fabulousness, so little time (and money).

Haha, I changed it for Christmas yesterday, but then I decided I hated it. I found this one with a girl in the wind and thought, "Hey... she looks like some chic named Sydney in the wind!!"
I am slightly crazy. It's okay as long as I admit it.

I like this layout better.
And yes, you're a bit crazy, but the good kind, and so am I.
I went to that website, and it made me wish I were at least thin enough to pull off those clothes in drag.

I am glad you like it.
My computer has a wide screen, so when I get a template that won't stretch my blog looks tiny. That makes me very picky. I think this will stay for a good while!
That website is to die for. I wish I had more money, I would be the best dressed apostate in the county!
