I made some scones for a light dinner (more like fry bread if anyone grew up in the great Mormon state of Utah like I did) and I made a little dish of honey-butter.
Andee: Would you like some honey-butter?
Roomie: What the Hell is honey-butter?
Andee: It's honey.... and... butter...
I didn't realize the concept was so hard to grasp...

Though there is "apple butter" which is not apples + butter, but really thick apple sauce. So...

He had honestly never heard of honey-butter. It was so common in my childhood, it's weird. :)

I kind of think it's weird too. It is pretty common all over North America at least.
