Resignation Re-Write

Well, many of you know that I posted what I thought would be my resignation letter a few days ago, but I am happy to announce that I have postponed the resignation to take part in the mass resignation on the SigningForSomething.org website. How many times can I use the word resignation in one sentence? Resignation resignation resignation resignation...

I am going to re-write the letter today at work (shhhh....) and post it when I get home tonight. It will cover most of the bases, but I want it to mainly be part of the Proposition 8 mess in California.

The SigningForSomething.org website already has plenty of people ready to resign their membership due to the Mormon church's actions. We are mad as Hell and we aren't going to take it anymore!

I am ashamed that I once defended this church, and I am ashamed to be a part of it now. I can't wait.

    I want to resign again!!! Prop 8 and the June 29 letter already drove me out. Remember that my voice, and the voices of many others are going to be right behind you all as you go through this. We'll be alternating between statements of support, shouts of excitement and singing "As I have loved you, Love One Another."

    You can still send in another letter to SigningForSomething.org if you like to, even if you have already resigned. As a matter of fact, it would be fantastic if you would!!!
