Two Doozies!

this site is basically derived from all things evil

The Mormon Temple article strikes again... here are two more comments left anonymously from loving church members...

I really DO NOT like the image of LDS people that this site is painting. Are you afraid to be part of the true church? I don't quite understand how one learns all the teaching of this church and full out lies and says that LDS people are being lied to. I simply cannot comprehend on what a sad life you must be leading if you are shying away from the light that the Lord has provided you with. I am concerned for your wellbeing because you obviously don't know what you are thinking. What "research" have you come up with? lies.....

I am sorry you don't agree with the research I have done and the conclusions I have come to... guess you can just stop coming here then...

When did I lie? Thats the thing... you think I am lying, but I am not. Read the older church doctrine, talk to people about the old temple ceremonies... this isn't something I made up! This is real stuff.

It's not my fault that you want to bury your head in the sand.

No lies. None.

this site is basically derived from all things evil. i don't care about your opinion in this case because it is obviously going to be pure BASHING of the church that is true. WHY?? why have you and your friends that back you up gone so insane into thinking that research you have done has anything to do with anything. I bet if you provided me with the "esearch" that i could point out everything wrong, but you would apparently disagree because you are not open-minded, even if you say you are. i may not know you to say that, but by the things you have done with this site makes me want to make sure i don't come to know you and your "followers." where did this hatred come from?? did somebody do something to you and this is all just revenge??

All things evil? Nice. Thats a new one.

If you don't care about my opinion, I won't give a rat's ass about yours.

I am not bashing the church, I am discussing things that happen in this so-called church every freaking day!

Again, read the older church doctrine, read the journal of discourses, ask questions. There is no reason the church should hold back certain books from you, or should ask you to stay away from certain websites. They have something to hide, sweetie.

I don't have "followers."

The people I talk with on this website have their own minds, and use them frequently. I suggest you try it sometime, you might like it.

Andee

P.S. This is just because I am "evil."

    Boyd K. Paker once said:

"There's much that is true that isn't useful."

Thanks for recent posts. I've enjoyed them.

Ugh. Why is it the people who come on here to tell you you're evil never use grammar, capitalization or spelling properly? You have way more patience than I do!

Isn't it nice to be called evil? My friend's dad told her that I was "Of the Devil" when we were 12. Charming, charming man.

    Andee,

You rock. You evil thing, you. :)

Wait. I am confused. Which one is it? Are you evil or are you scared?

I have been through the temple. EVERYTHING you have said about it, including the pictures, is accurate. Sure, to some people it is sacred, but so is a "vision" of the virgin mary on a piece of toast. If they don't like what you write, they need to stop reading. Period. Does she think she is your mother? That if she tells you that she doesn't like what you write that you will stop?

The LDS church has done such an amazing job covering up it's past that even it's own members don't know it. The history is appalling. But members listen when their leaders explain that they themselves are infallable, and then tell you not to read anything that is not faith promoting, what do you expect?

I can say one thing in defense of the people writing you. The thought of going through what you have been through-of finding out the gospel is not what it professes to be, is so overwhelming that they cannot deal with it. Some people have to live in denial because they cannot deal with the alternate idea. I know because I lived in denial A LONG time.

I love how she/he says you are the close minded one. Uh huh. I have a feeling they are the one who accepts other peoples opinions as their own and believes what they are told to believe without doing any research.

    Chester,

You are welcome, glad you like them! Thanks for reading :)

    Mere,

I ask myself about spelling and punctuation ALL THE TIME. I know I am not perfect, but you can tell I passed the 6th grade, right? It's crazy.

I love it when people call me evil, because it says more about them than it does about me!

    MaybeMaybeNot,

    You rock!

    Tanya Susie,

I am both evil and scared. See? I am shaking in my Nikes!

I am convinced the person who wrote that has never been through the temple, and when they go through and see that I am right that person might just have a moment of reflection.

I feel for the people who say these things to me. I know they are simply caught up in the Mormon machine and they have no idea what the big picture is... I just choose to laugh at it, because if I don't laugh it will get to me. *hugs*

    Demand More,

You are right, as usual. I don't understand how these people think I am lying. No lies have been told. None. It's frustrating.

    Thanks for the comments everyone!!!

What do you mean? I'm totally one of your "followers" - though I'm not sure if ' "followers" ' is different from just regular 'followers' :)

Also, we're insane. How fun is that?

  1. Andee Says:

    Craig,

Ahh, when I hear the word "followers" I think of cults... I can hear it now...

TV reporter looks seriously into the camera: "WindySydney followers shaved their heads and crawled their way around SLC today to protest the Mormon Church's involvement in proposition 8. Tomorrow they have plans to drink a bunch of kool-aid and party like its..." (looks at copy) "1999."

  1. Jessi Marchese Says:

I just really fail to see the point in posting comments like that. If you don't like it, why even post at all? Just exit for pete's sake. I stand by my belief that nothing a person says will change another person's mind unless they want to. Long live your evilness!

  1. Anonymous Says:

Dude, we get to shave our heads???? I am so a follower!!!!!!!

  1. Craig Says:

    The Marcheses:

We, the loyal Followers of Windy Sydney, like to read about the debauched state of those who don't follow the Path of Awesomeness - for it strengthens our testimonies and faith in the Holy One Truth.

But seriously, they show how clueless people can be, and it helps to ameliorate the hatred they spew when you share it.

I do hope that which you term "evil" (which we term good - heh) lives long. And long live your assholerey.
