I'm jealous! Can't wait to see some more great shots, I really like your eye....not to mention your adorable kitties.

I just got some kittens for my birthday and am having a hard time getting good pictures of them because they move around too much!

Ooh, do you have a flickr page? I would love to see your photos!!!

When I want to take photos of my cats, I have to wait until they are snoozing peacefully. Then, I approach as quietly as possible. They eventually wake up... slowly. For about 10 minutes or so I get a good window where they will sit still and deal with my flash.

I do have a flikr page- trapped in amber- there isn't much on it though. I have only used it for posting pictures in a nature and gardening forum. I will try to put some more stuff on there later, like pictures of my new kitties!

Thanks for the tips on photographing them. I am really not a good photographer....just point and shoot right now. But I'm trying!Do you ever hit "confessions of a pioneer woman"? She has some great photoshop tutorials and other photography tips.

Photography is so much fun. I love how creative it lets me be. I am going to check out that website you mentioned as well, I still don't have photoshop, it's something else on my list to buy. :)

So what lens did you get? You didn't tell. I'm saving my pennies for a true macro lens.

Pioneer Woman is awesome. I've been a fan of hers for a long time. She's the reason I finally broke down last year a bought an SLR.

I got a really nice zoom lens... 75-300 mm

It's amazing. I am getting some fantastic detail I couldn't get from far away before. I can't wait to just go out for a hike for a day!
